日々の花の写生から得られた実感を、一作品ずつ染め、あるいは刺繍をし、連続する多角形のフレームに収めています。 それぞれのフレームの形は、植物の細胞壁から着想を得ています。
線刻糊防染という技法と、ミシン刺繍によるオリジナルテクニックの技法を用いています。
The "Encapsulated Moments of Bloom" series is inspired by the cell membranes and cell walls of plants. This series explores two aspects.
The first focuses on the structures of veins and tissues that deliver water and nutrients to cells. By utilizing resist dye techniques with engraved paste and an original machine stitching method, I create interconnected patterns on fabric that evoke growth and the transmission of energy at a microscopic level. Through this process, I incorporate daily sketches, capturing my awe for flowers within each frame.
The second aspect expresses the idea of cells extending and expanding into space, realized through the power of textile techniques. Our daily lives are built on a continuous sequence of "now." By focusing on these moments, I aim to fill spaces with this daily rhythm, anticipating the emergence of new patterns of life's energy.
